Spotlight on Dr. Worth: Nimiipuu Health Physician and Accomplished Athlete

Nimiipuu Health is excited to shine a spotlight on Dr. Worth, whose commitment to both healthcare and endurance sports sets him apart as an inspiring figure in our community. Dr. Worth recently participated in the 2024 Banana Slug Backyard 24, an endurance race that challenges even the most seasoned athletes.
.
The Banana Slug Backyard 24, held April 13 and 14 in Champoeg State Park, Oregon, is a unique and demanding race format. Runners must complete a 4.167-mile loop within one hour, and they continue to run this loop at the top of every hour until the race ends. The race is structured so that it ends either when all runners can no longer complete the 4.167-mile loop or after 24 hours, whichever comes first. The only way to complete the entire race is to last 24 hours, totaling 100 miles within that time frame, making mental toughness as crucial as physical endurance.
.
In this year’s event, Dr. Worth completed an impressive 20 loops, covering a total distance of 80.33 miles! This is a testament to his endurance and resilience.
Dr. Worth’s dedication to both his athletic pursuits and his professional responsibilities reflects his approach to patient care. Known for his compassionate and patient-centered approach, he goes above and beyond to meet the unique needs of his patients.
.
Dr. Worth’s performance at the Banana Slug Backyard 24, along with his professional achievements, represents the perseverance that defines Nimiipuu Health. We are proud to celebrate his accomplishments both on the racecourse and in his role as a healthcare provider.
.
Congratulations to Dr. Worth for his amazing finish in the 2024 Banana Slug Backyard 24 and for his continued contributions to our community’s health. We look forward to his future endeavors and the positive impact he will continue to make.
